a Numb Penis And What to Do About It Posted: 12-24-05 01:11am
From what i've read, I think they screwed
up my circumcision when I was a baby,
because I don't get any pleasure from my
penis. Orgasm is dull and weak, and I
usually dread coming because of the clean
up. Before climax, it actually hurts.
I don't know what can be done about it.
Off the wall: i've heard of men getting
into accidents and losing their penises,
then getting "reconstruction". How does
this work? Can they make you a new penis
somehow, and if so, could they just cut
mine off and give me a new one? If not,
does anyone know how "building" a new
penis on these guys works? Thanks.

How old are you? How often do you
masturbate? Has it always been this way?
It could be a nerve problem... You
might want to go see your doctor if you
feel that it is something to be concerned
about....

Well, I have another problem that totally
killed my sex drive and interupted my
puberty, so I don't masturbate more than 4
times a week, and only because i'm bored.
I've debated two possibilities here:
1. Bad circumcision. There's a nerve
cluster that, when lopped off which has
happened, almost totally numbs the penis
to sexual pleasure. This is consistant
with my having had this for as long as I
can remember. However, the exact
description of the problem doesn't exactly
match mine. It is also very
improbable.
2. Diabetes. Total numbness of the
penis has been known to happen with
diabetes, and I am pre-diabetic. I am
fairly sure my hypopituitarism is caused
by diabetes. However, it isn't really
consistent with having had the numbness
all my life. Also, I am only pre
diabetic, which is different from a or
b.
The likelyhood of both is pretty equal,
which disturbs me. As for seeing a
doctor, well, i'm not about to go up to my
parents and tell them that my penis
doesn't work. I'm sure you understand,
which means that i'll have to wait until
i'm an adult to do it independently.
Also, I doubt anything can be done about
either possibility, which is why I was
wondering how exactly the reconstruction
surgery works, as it may be possible to
take out the dead parts and make new ones.
As for the hypopituitarism, I am subtly
trying to do something about that. Thing
is, my blood panels don't show low
testosterone, which is discouraging
because it shows that they aren't looking
for it. But hopefully i'll be able to
take care of that eventually.

I defnitely agree with what you believe to
be the two causes. As for advice though,
all I can say is see your doctor....
