accupuncture for Spondylosis

My 67 year old Mother was diagnosed with this condition just over a year ago. While she dosen't feel significant pain she is increasingly stiff and has difficulty bending. Does anyone know of anything which could alleviate this ? She has suggested acupuncture, but would prefer to hear from others who have tried this before undergoing it herself.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could offer feedback.
