Accuracy of Blood Serum Pregnancy Test
Posted: 09-18-08 09:03am

How accurate are blood serum pregnancy tests? I've done four home pregnancy tests and had one serum pregnancy test, and all gave a negative response. I've missed my period for about two months. My breasts are aching though, but nipples are not brown. Sometimes my pelvis and my vagina ache too. Please help. Going nuts. Thanks.

blood is 100% if its done at around 3-4 weeks... see they measure hcg, normal woman have hcg of 5 or less... when your pregnant within weeks its jumps intot he thousands!! wen i was around 5 weeks mine was 1800... if your more than 10 then your pregnant, and it should double every 2 days so it gets higher very quickly... so im SURE your not pregnant...plus pelvis and vagina acheyness is not a pregnaancy symtom.. at least not this early... the worrying that your pregnant could be whats making your period not come... i would talk to your doctor about this, since its not pregnancy , then this should be checked out, there lots of other possibilities it could be, or just too much stress and worrying
