my last period was started on 30april. i
had unprotected sex on 28may. during the
intercouse, there was bleeding (even my bf
just using his finger to rub ),when he
using his dick to rub, even more blood
coming out. i thought it was my period
coming , but i found out afterwards, there
are no more blood after the sex. this is
not the first sex of me. I am worried am i
pregnant, so i had the 1st tablet of
postinor-2 60+hours after the sex and the
other tablet 12 hours after it.
on the 1st of june, i did pregnancy test
using home pregnancy kit. -ve.
is it possible i get pregnant ? during the
sex, it was my 29day.i usually hv 30+
menstrual cycle. how long a fertile ovum
survive after ovulation?

I'd suggest taking a pregnancy test if you
don't get your cycle in a few days. The
morning after pill is most effective 24
hours after intercourse but is still
effective before 72 hours just not as
effective.

It is unlikely you would ovulate 4 weeks
into your cycle. Pregnancy is probably not
what is causing your delayed period -
unless you got pregnant prior to that
sexual encounter on May 28.
Is there a reason you aren't using birth
control if you don't wish to become
pregnant?

Having sex IS being sexual active. Did his
penis accidentally slip into you when you
fell down? Then it wasn't an 'accident'.
You chose to have sex.
Take another pregnancy test. Your period
is more than likely delayed due to the
hormones in the Plan B.

..ingi is that necessary?
i think what she means by not being
sexually active is that she does not have
sex all the time, everytime, it could have
been a one time thing or her first time.
i felt your reply came off a little rude.
i could have be an unplanned to have sex
at that time, it could be a 'caught up in
the moment' thing.
give her a break.
i dont think you needed to say that first
little comment, you could have just said,
'take another test. Your period is more
than likely delayed due to the hormones in
plan B.'

Having sex is being sexually active. No
one should be subjecting themselves to
unintended pregnancy. Sex doesn't
accidentally happen. There is usually a
build-up. And if you don't wish to get
pregnant, you better use protection.
It is very unlikely, like I said before,
that she was ovulated anywhere near the 4
week time of her cycle.
But you are very right, Krystine. All she
needs to know is to read the package
insert that came with her plan b that says
her period can be delayed or she can
experience irregular bleeding by taking
that medication.

i agree with you as well, but im sure this
girl could be kicking herself right now
for not taking better precautions, so i
just thought she didnt have to feel even
worse about it.
but your right, if your not wanting to get
pregnant, there are alot more steps you
can take to prevent one.

thx..both of u are right. i learnt a
lesson. i do understand that it could
delayed the period. but it's stated there
not later than 7days.
it's day 37. i took a test using morning
urine. shows negative.
is it possible that the hcg level not high
enough to be tested since it's only 1week
after conception?
ok, maybe it's due to the plan b hormones.
i will wait and see 1st and consider for
birth control.

It takes 10-14 days for HCG hormones to
build up enough to trigger a pregnancy
test. Plan B is 80% effective if taken
right away, which it sounds like you did.
Plan B is a mega dose of hormones meant to
delay your ovulation - which in turn, can
really screw up your regular cycle.
So wait until 2 weeks since the
unprotected sex and then test with your
first morning urine.
Good luck!
