I went back on the pill last month after
being off it for a few months. I took them
every day & was pretty good about it. At
the end of the month, my first month on
the pill, I had unprotected sex. It was on
the same day that I took the last pill in
the pack. My period started two days
later. It was heavier than usual. A bit
darker. And I had more cramps right at the
beginning. It lasted about 6 days, the
usual.
It's been four days since my period ended
now. They're not cramps, but sometimes I
get more like discomfort in my lower
abdominal/pelvic region. It's not specific
to one side or anything and comes and
goes. I've been burping more often than
usual which I read could be an early sign.
Other than that I haven't really had any
signs. I took a home test and it was
negative. (Is it too early? It's been 2
weeks since I had sex.) Is there a
possibility that I'm pregnant even after
the heavy period?

You are protected on birth control pills
after a week, right? It is a very slim
chance you would be pregnant. With birth
control + a negative test, I'd say you are
not pregnant.

Is it possible for a fertalized embryo to

It is doubtful that you are pregnant since
you were also taking birth control pills.
Birth control pills prevent ovulation. No
ovulation means no risk of pregnancy. If
you still think you are pregnant, take
another test.

Your chances are very very slim that you
are pregnant considering how your period
was very heavy. It is very rare for
pregnant women to bleed, and when they do
bleed it is usually a much much lighter
bleeding. You are also on the pill which
is a form of protection that is very
accurate, and you have a negative tests,
so I would not worry too much.
