i don't know what to do, i had my last
period on the 21 April 2008, it is about
7weeks ago, i have done a home pregnancy
test but it was negative. i get hot
flushes, am tired and get cramps, i have
made an appointment with the doc. but its
not for another week....just want advise

At this point, a pregnancy test should be
accurate since your period is now
overdue.
It's hard not to stress and worry about
this, but try not to until you see the
doctor.
My advice is when you go to the doctor,
request a blood pregnancy test. They are
far more accurate and you will have peace
of mind.
Edit:
I think you should also ask the doctor
about birth control possibilities.

i got a early appointment this mornig, so
i went to the doctor, he didn't even test
my blood, i asked him to but he said that
its not needed.he just did a urine test,
and told me im not pregnant, i tried to
tell him that i allready did one and its
negative, he told me that its just
hormones, i were on the pill but it was
4months ago when i left it. and this
doctor is someone with a degree...!!! its
like with my mother the doctors could only
see in her blood that se was pregnant with
my brother

hey, if the periods are overdue means it
doesn,t only means that your a pregnant.
due to some problems in your health the
periods will not come intime,, dont worry,
just went to the doctor, and check ur
total body,, including stomach,, some
times may be the periods will be stopped
due to some over heat......etc.

he did check my whole body, a internal
check up as well. he said there were no
problems..... and its not like its gone
for 2 or 3 days its 7 weeks now, and still
no sign

He would have just checked your urine for
hcg as you're late for your period - at
this point a test would be accurate.
It is possible to skip periods
occassionally for reasons other than
pregnancy (stress for example). As you've
been to the dr's there's not a lot you ca
do other than just wait for your next one
to show up!
