I've been feeling very lightheaded almost
to the point of fainting for almost 3
years now. It's been better at times, but
lately (about 5-6 months now), it's been
constant when i'm standing or walking. I
do get heart palpitations occassionally, I
get panick attacks (or mini ones, i can
control them if i lay down). Recently for
about a week now, i started having
numbness/tingling in my hands/arms and
feet/legs. All on the left side. It lasts
for the whole day sometimes. I saw my
physician this week and he still thinks
it's anxiety related. I'm very nervous
with all these symptoms. My other symptoms
are: irritability, poor memory, migraines,
stiff neck, loss of weight. Any ideas what
all this could be? Can it really be
anxiety related? if so, what's the best
treatment or tests should i try? Please
reply as soon as possible. thanks.

According to your symptoms (feeling very
lightheaded, heart palpitations, panic
attacks, numbness/tingling in my
hands/arms and feet/legs, irritability,
poor memory, migraines, stiff neck, loss
of weight…) and negative reports from
all those diagnostic procedures you are
probably experiencing some kind of anxiety
disorder. When all those diagnostic
procedures show no presence of any organic
disease the only possibility left is
ANXIETY. Anxiety disorders are often
manifested with symptoms that imitate some
real organic diseases. You may want to
consult some psychiatrist about your
condition.
