He said my baby was excellent with a 178 bpm heart rate which is awesome but y do i worry if i say that. i think that it is because i am not showing and i cant feel the baby!!! anyone that can give me good advice i would appreciate it.!! thank you!!!

How far along are you? I only just started showing at about 28/29 weeks, & even then people didn't realise I was pregnant unless I told them. If your doctor is happy with how your pregnancy is going then try not to worry so much. It's your first pregnancy & depending on how far along you are, you might be feeling the baby move but not realising it.

Congrats on the pregnancy Smile

It's perfectly normal to worry and stress a little bit about the baby and how you are doing, especially if it's your first. I was still doing it on my sixth baby. So for me to give you more info on what things should be like, maybe you should first tell me how far a long in the pregnancy you are?

Every pregnancy is different from woman to woman and each woman has differences from one pregnancy to the next too. There is no set in stone list for things that will happen. You can get the book "What to expect when you're expecting" which gives you guidelines for your pregnancy. Or you can come here too, no problem with that.

Some women don't show until even 6months pregnant and some will feel the baby move really early, like 12 weeks, and some won't feel it until 20. Just give me a little more info about yourself so we can help you out a little more Smile

I'm 22 weeks and just barely started feeling the baby move. WEll wait let me rephrase that, I just barely started to realize that the baby was moving. Really if you don't know what it feels like I just keep thinking it was gas, and my imagination. But if you try real hard and focus, usually it helps if you lay flat on your back the baby will start hosting the World Cup in your belly in no time. Hopefully once you start feeling the baby move a few times a day that'll give you some reassurance that everything is ok. I think being nurveous with your first is normal, I know in my first trimester I was always so paranoid that I was always having a miscarriage, but have been much better since then. Have you had your first ultrasound yet. I had mine at 14 weeks and saw the baby moving around like crazy and knowing that it was doing that and I couldn't feel it made me a little more at ease too.

Oh yeah your still really early you most likely won't start feeling movement for another month or longer. And not showing that early on will is ok too, it'll be weird cause one day you'll wake up and your belly will have popped out, once that happens theres no stopping if from that point. My belly popped out literally over night and I was about 18-19 weeks. Now the baby condo is going in full force, and someone I didn't even know actually recognized that I was pregnant the other day. So try to stay calm and be patient cause it'll all start happening so fast eventually.

Sweety,

I'm 27wks and 2day and I just now started to show.
Don't worry a lot. If your doctor said everything looks good then it is.
I hope you feel better. Good Luck sweety! :0)

It's normal to worry, especially since this is your first. As long as you don't bleed, all those little aches and pains are normal, growing pains if you will. Don't worry about showing either. I'm 36wks and I still have to tell people I'm pregnant. But I really 'popped' at about 32wks, but still kinda small.

Congrats and Good Luck!!
