i had a caesarean with my first boy and dont remember any of this. I'm booked in for a caesarean next wednesday but all day so far i have been so incredibly sore around my cervix. It's like a constant ache and it hurts to move or walk.

would this be him dropping into place or might i be dialating?

It could be a lot of different things and it is totally normal. Dilating doesn't mean you'll go into labor soon, many women can be dilating for weeks before they go into labor.
