Hi Girls!
MonkeyGirl told me I should visit more often...so here I am Razz

I'm 29 weeks today. My word the heartburn is overwhelming. I'm also anemic again so I can't take TUMS anymore (as the calcium in Tums prevents the absorption of Iron). So it's a suffer-fest. But it's all good.

Here are some pics of my nursery/crib...and some paintings I painted just for baby Myles.
I am getting so many hand me down baby clothes from friends..I did 3 loads of laundry last night and it was all baby stuff. I love they way it smells. I also have 4 more bins of clothing on the way!! Where am I going to put all this stuff? Who knew how much stuff you needed?

Thank you Smile
Yes I painted them last weekend. Not free-hand though. I found the pictures online and blew them up and then transferred them to canvas.

Love the pictures and the colour of the room

I'm thinking of doing our nursery green as well but a bit of a darker lighter shade

Beatiful!
What a lucky little boy who will have this original designed by "MOM" room! I adore your avatar. Looks like my little BIlly Ray.....he has not been see in almost 2 months............I like the fact you chose the color scheme, something he can grow up with. Babies love to look around and it stimlates their little minds and helps them to develop in many ways. Can you not find reasonable priced rubbermaid containers to store clothes, etc, that you won't use right off? These stack nicely even in garages and keep out moisture, etc. Boy Howdy do I remember hte heartburn.............and although she turn 25 this year.............I still have it. Keep up posted, I love getting pics of creative rooms! Hugs!

Thanks girls!
Yes, it's all coming together. Last night I picked up a Pack & Play, a baby gate and a portable high chair from a friend. She is no longer using them. I tell you there is this whole underground market of moms and baby stuff. I love it!

Fairy Godmother - My avatar is a photo of my cat Snoshoo. He is a polydactyle - meaning that he has extra toes. So his feet are massive. He is pretty cute...but I think he will be quite jealous when Myles comes along...he's mommy's boy and I'm not sure he's willing to forfeit that birthright Smile
Re:storage...I have a few rubbermaids in the baby's closet already - see the problem is DH uses that closet for his stuff, and now I have to migrate him over to MY closet (ho hum...). So hopefully I can fit it all in between the dresser and the bins. I guess I will separate by size. I really wish I had a garage. Sad

Hi Shanyan, haven't seen you around in a while I hope all is well?
I got the baby bedding at Target! See, I live in BC, Canada...so the drive down to Target in Washington state is always fun. So sad we don't have Targets up here in CA. They have the best baby stuff.

Very Cute room. the paintings are very cute too and I think you did a great job even if you did transfer them...they look great. I tell you what, that heartburn is the worse. There for a while EVERYTHING gave me heartburn....even cottage cheese....and milk is suppose to help---hehe. Mine has gone away now though. Pretty much the whole last month and a half I haven't really had much at all. It will get better. Not too much longer to go---yipee!!!

I haven't been around too much cause I just felt like I needed a break form all the ttc and pregnancy stuff. You know how it is. It felt like all I was doing was focusing on it and it was really starting to get to me.

I so wish that we had a Target here.....they have great stuff there!!
