Being overweight and PCOS Posted: 05-03-08 09:59am
I have been experianicing numb / weak /
tingling legs and right arm & face fairly
constant in arms and legs since i started
taking anti-depressants, also keep waking
up feeling im not myself also havnt had a
period in about 7 months ( not pregnant )
prescribed diet tablets as due to weight (
suposedly ).
Is this all normal? as I am convinced I
have a brain tumor or something that can
kill me even tho I've been told I have
not.

Tingling sensations, numbness and weakness
in arms and hands can be caused by anxiety
rather than a brain tumor. You probably
don’t have a brain tumor but you are
overweight. Being overweight and
experiencing lack of a period without
being pregnant could indicate polycystic
ovarian syndrome (PCOS). You may want to
consult an endocrinologist and
gynecologist about this.
