Q: belly sore

Yesterday I woke up and my belly just felt really sore. Its not particularly painful but it feels like someone is stretching me from all angles. Up my sides, the round ligaments pains. I just feel....sore i guess is the best word to describe it. I'm now 16w 4d

Is this normal? Obviously I have no bleeding or anything like that but sleeping is unbearably uncomfortable and with my placenta previa i'm worrying more then I should. Thank god for this doppler, babys heartbeat is still in the 160s today

It's normal. Your uterus is expanding, and as it expands it shifts your organs. You're feeling pressure from new directions that you've never felt before, and it's completely normal to feel sore.

In a few short months, your baby is going to start kicking you hard, and in ONE PLACE over and over and over. You want to talk about sore? I thought I was bruised on the inside! Laughing

I can't even imagine how painful after awhile the kicks get to be. Obviously I think the little ones now are oh so cute, but im sure when they get really strong i'll change my tune Wink Your right though i feel pressure and weird pains in places I never have, especially up near my rib cage and lower abdomen. I suppose with a growing uterus the organs are shifting and when you picture someone moving around your organs its probably not the best feeling in the world.
