The best time to get pregnant is just before you ovulate. To find out when you ovulate, you can look at online calculators - but they are pretty general and say 14 days before your next period. If you really want to know, start charting and temping.

It takes the average healthy couple approximately 12 months to conceive.

Good luck!

Just forget to pack your birth control on a trip to cabo with your husband.

Worked for me...

That isn't very good advice.

ingi...
so if you take birth control for a week to get your period regularly started, and go through a cycle you can base the best time to get pregnant from that ?

It isn't a good idea to take birth control if you are trying to become pregnant. Birth control will only regulate your cycles if you take it regularly. Taking it for a week... I don't know if any doctor would recommend that... are you seeing a doctor who is telling you to do that?

Yes, you still can get pregnant with PCOS - it may take a little longer since your cycles will be irregular. You really should look into temping and charting. It will put you in tune with what is going on with your body and you'll become more aware of your natural cycle.

Good luck!!
