Today is day 6 of this unrelenting nausea
(no vomiting), and now a low grade fever
has shown it's ugly self. So much as
taking a shower or even taking the dog
out, results in an upward bilateral flank
pain.
2 months ago, red blood cells were found
during a urinalysis, along with an enlarge
prostate. My PSA came back at only a .4,
but due to swelling, I was nearly
completely unable to void, and was given a
Foley, and then to return one week later,
to have it removed. That same day it was
reinserted, as I could still not void on
my own. This all happened on a Thursday.
The following week on Tuesday, I was
experiencing major pain from the Foley and
my urine had turned a very dark brown. By
10 o'clock that night I could take it no
more and went to the emergency room, which
it was determined that I now had a severe
bladder infection.
At this time I was scheduled for a Cipto
TURP in two weeks. The Cipto revealed no
blockage and thus the TURP was not
performed. This was 2 weeks ago and I am
still experiencing burning during voiding
and this flank pain is worsening, now
along with a low grade fever, nausea, and
diarrhea.
I was first put on Bacterium, then changed
to Doxycycl, and this Thursday am
scheduled to begin Trimethoprin for
another month.
When all of this started, through some
blood test, my creatine level was 1.5,
[high range as I was told is 1.4]
