My husband and I have decided to wait at
least one year, maybe two before starting
to conceive. THe problem I run into... is
every month during the time for lovely
PMS, I am SO emotional and even anxious
about getting/being pregnant - and cry
when my period comes - still knowing it's
best for us to wait. Doesn't that sound
crazy?
Right now, it's especially hard and I
don't know why. Is that normal? I feel
not like my normal self and I just don't
want to let this... urge... consume me -
and my poor husband in return! The last thing I
want is to ruin the experience when it
finally does arrive.
Any advice is much appreciated.

It is SO normal to feel that way! I think
we have all felt that way at one point or
another.
There really isn't any advice I can give.
You just have to do what is best for you
and your future family. If that means you
need to wait, just remind yourself of why.
Or maybe you are at a place where you can
talk to your husband again and move up
that date a little.
I just wanted to let you know that it's
completely normal to feel that way.

Are you taking preventative measures of
birth control? Talk to your husband and
tell him you are ready now. If you are
worried about your biological clock - how
old are you? Some women do experience
perimenopause at an early age? Again,
talk to your husband. Most men are
reluctant to starting a family - it is an
enormous responsibility, and they don't
have that motherly instinct that we are
blessed with. Good luck and I hope this
helps.
