Recommendations on birth control please
20 years old
underweight
digestive problems (that usually really
affect me during the first two days of
menstruation)
Moving in with boyfriend (not sure if I
should go on a pill that delays periods or
one that regulates a monthly period)
I was on kariva once before and it
realllly messed up my periods (which used
to be predictable and now they are often
late, but soon after i got off kariva i
lost 20 pounds due to a history with an
eating disorder)
In art school and spend a lot of time in
studio (lots of late nights ect,
unpredictable time schedules)
Unstable diet due to being broke and
working a lot (usually eat one meal a day
with a small snack later on)
I don't know how much your diet affects
your period or anything and was wondering
if anyone had knowledge of that or had
really amazing results with birth control.
Also... if you post please let me know
when if you got off birth control and if
so how long afterwards did you conceive,
if it failed, ect.
I do plan on having a kid one day so I
don't want for whatever method I use to
leave me unable to spawn (haha) in a
couple of years.
Thanks for any information you may have!
And yes, when I move and get a new doctor
I will be asking them these questions but
it is always good to get opinions and
advice from people who have experienced
this sort of thing before. (:
Thanks again!

I was on Mircogrogyon for 4 years i was a
student busy busy life the same as you, it
was 100% affective for me a gained a
little weight when i went on it but too
myboobs which was great as i was only
118pounds i have stopped the pill now with
some difficulties with my period but that
say it can take up to one year for your
body to be come regular again. You should
talk your GP and get some advice as to
what they think would suit you, There is
also the Shot but that means you wont have
your period at all and can take up to 4
years after you stop for your body to
become noraml again. Good luck

Best things I can think of for someone
with an unpredictable lifestyle is the
ring or an IUD. Both are great and
fertility returns soon after you stop
them. If you do the paraguard IUD there
aren't even hormones to worry about.
If you are underweight, you won't get your
period, regardless of the pills.
