ok so i was on BC for three months and during that time i was on my period for 20 ish days and then it finally started getting regular but i wasnt having sex and i didnt like it so i stopped for three months. but now i have started it again and i have been spotting for a long time and i have been really nauseous for the last two days. is this normal? i havnt had sex except for one small incident right before i started BC again. he was about to put it in when my tampon was in and ouch he kind of succeeded but i took plan b just in case. so i dont really know whats going on with my body right now!help me out

First of all- did you take the Plan B before you started the BC? How long ago was that? How long have you been taking the BC?

Well, putting hormones into your body is always going to screw with it right in the beginning. Feeling poopy is normal.

But, you've thrown in a monkey wrench...that Plan B is going to alter your cycle a little bit. Spotting, heavier period, period sooner than expected, feeling kind of poopy...all of these things may (and probably WILL) happen. I'm glad you took the Plan B- but now you'll just have to wait out the side effects (listed earlier). In fact, nausea could be a direct side effect of the Plan B.

Your body is simply adjusting...don't worry. What I would do is keep taking the pills as directed.
