I'm just a little worried about how I'm
feeling right now. I can't get to a
doctor for a good checkup until next week,
so I just wanted to see if I could find
anything out here.
I'm taking the generic brand of Ortho
Novum 7/7/7 (Necon 7/7/7). I've taken it
from December of 2006 until January of
2008. I then got a Depo-Provera shot
(only one, 3 mo.) before switching back to
the pill. I didn't have regular periods
on the shot, and didn't have one the last
month of it. I was supposed to start a
period Tuesday, but didn't. Yesterday I
bled a little, but it was hardly anything
and was a little pinkish rather than red.
Earlier today there was a tiny bit of dark
brown. Now it's a little heavier, but
still not enough to fill a pad or tampon,
though I think it's probably a little too
much for implantation bleeding. I don't
know. I start a new pack of pills in
about a half an hour.
I've been feeling a little nauseous out of
nowhere for the past few days. A bit of
stomachache and dizziness. Thursday I
almost passed out because I had a really
bad migraine. A few days ago my breasts
(more specifically the nipples) were
really sore. At times even just wearing a
shirt hurt them. Now it's just a very
dull ache in both of my breasts. I still
feel nauseous and like I just want to
sleep.
I was just wondering if ALL of these could
be symptoms from my birth control?
I'm on the pill and my boyfriend uses
condoms every time. There was one night
when he thought the condom broke because
we couldn't tell if it was just discharge
or semen on it, but we couldn't find any
evidence of it being broken.
I don't think it's pregnancy. It'd be a
miracle baby if it was. I just don't know
what it is. I never felt all of this
being on the pill before I got the shot.
All your symptoms, including irregular
vaginal bleeding, could be side affects
from the birth control pills and that
Depo-Provera shot. Pregnacy is very
unlikely in case when you both use
contraceptive methods (condom and hormonal
contraception) that have efficiency more
than 99%. Anyway, you can do a pregnancy
test for sure.
