i have been having sex for almost two years now. and i am on the birth control pill and have been on it for at least a year. and ive never had any problems with anything before. and me and my new boyfriend were having sex, and he was fingering me. and when i looked down i noticed blood. there wasnt alot, but there was definatly enough for me to freak out it was on his hand but didnt get onto the bed or anything like that. not to long after he stopped the bleeding had ceased (maby a half hour) and i havent started bleeding again at all. his finger nails were a tad long, and he was going rough. although i didnt feel any pain at all but we've done it that way before and had no problems. no bleeding or anything. i am quite worried cause this has never happened to me before. when i first had sex i dont remember my 'cherry being popped' but ive had my fair share of affairs with old boyfriends and such that im not sure if that would be wat it was.. although he was going deep? help?

Your b/f may have excoriated your vagina or cervix with his nails. This would cause some bleeding. He needs to be careful and should trim his nails. Finger nails have bacteria under them and if he cuts you he cause an infection. Let him know that he needs to be gentle and keep his nails trimmed and clean. A visit to the gyn may be a good idea if the bleeding persists. If you develop any pain or have more bleeding you need to see the doctor.
