So my baby will be 4 months already on may
9th. Probably since around 4 weeks of
age, he has had a running, oozing, goopey
left eye. I have had him to my dr many
times. Each time prescribing me a
antibiotic ointment. Many times a day I
find myself wiping his eye. Nothing has
been working. I have massaged the area,
used warm compresses...everything!!!!
Does anyone have any ideas or advice? I
am starting to get annoyed by this.
My nephew had a runny eye for about a year
I think (it was quite a long time
anyway).. in the end it just went away by
itself. You might just have to keep wiping
it & let it sort itself out. Sorry I
can't be of more help.

When Brayden was born he had a blocked
tear duct too. The doctor always told me
it would take care of itself so I didn't
worry to much about it. You can use a
warm wash cloth when you are giving him a
bath and slightly massage the duct area to
help open it up! Otherwise just give it
time!
