If peeing was painful then yes it could be a urinary tract infection. If she was peeing and a whole load of blood came out or if there was no pain, then chances are its her period. When you sit down to pee sometimes that extra pushing causes more blood to come out of the vagina during the period.

That's not a period.
Periods usually last 3-7 days and come with a lot of cramping in the lower stomach and lower back areas.
There would be more blood than that. Usually it's heavier when it begins then begins to slow down.

Has she ever had a period before?

This is sounding like a urinary tract infections or the very beginnings of one.

when she had to go to the bathroom it was all blood. i think she went 2 times that day and each time it was all blood. there was no pain. yes she has had her period before and this is the first time this has ever happened. so i dont know if that was her period or she does have an infection. she was due for her period and it still didnt come....

I'm just really confused at this point. You said she was urinating blood in the first post. Blood that comes with urine will look like pink urine.
Blood from a period is usually clotted, clumpy looking (sorry to be so graphic).
Periods don't usually last 1 day, unless that is normal for her.

It sounds like she just might need to go to her gynecologist to check this out because it is hard to give an opinion from what you are describing.

okay ill try to make this clear, ill give you a play by play haha. on thursday the 24th she was due for her period. on saturday the 26th we were going to an amusement park. so before we left her house at about 8 in the morning she had to go to the bathroom. she went to the bathroom and she told me that it was all blood. so she put a pad on and we went to the park. later that day she had to go to the bathroom again. and again it was all blood. she says it was like a brown red. more red than brown. when she whiped she said there was no blood and there was none on her pad. there was no pain when she went to the bathroom. the next morning when she went to the bathroom it was back to regular urination. i dont know if that was her period or if its an infection. and if it wasnt her period, then where is it??

That is strange.
I mean, I've had times where my period seems to come only when I go to the bathroom, but even then I usually have some spotting other times during the day.

It does hurt and that's her only symptom? Has she gone to the doctor yet?
