I guess, if it were pregnancy that made
you late on your period to begin with,
you'd be having positive pregnancy tests.
All the pregnancy symptoms, no period,
sore breasts, dizziness, nausea, etc - are
caused by hormones that your body gives
off when it is pregnant.
It takes 10-14 days after conception for
these hormones to become strong enough to
cause anything. The first symptom is a
missed period. Followed shortly behind by
sore breasts and nausea (not all women get
this).
Your symptoms could all be related to
something else, is what I'm saying.
Symptoms are not always indicative of
pregnancy. They could be PMS symptoms. Or
a hormonal imbalance from going off birth
control pills. Your period could have been
late due to normal pill useage and the
fact that some women can stop having
periods, have lesser bleeding, and their
period becomes light an non-existent.
What does your doctor say? Why haven't you
had a blood test yet? I'd be demanding
one.
