well my guy has these small spots on his nack that look like sweat rashes to me and he asked me if they were a sign he had HPV too. i felt soooo offended, like he was throwing that in my face. now whenever some thing little is bugging him or he thinks somethings wrong or when he gets sick he blames it on my HPV. i already told him everyone has it or if not is gonna get it sometime in their life if their sexually active. he keeps mentioning that he wants a physical. anybody have any advice?

NO, THAT IS NOT HPV!!

HPV either causes genital warts, cervical cancer, or causes cervical abnormalities.

It can also cause nothing to happen at all.

HPV is also often removed from the body by the immune system, so you would not have it forever.

Please tell him that with most forms of HPV, he CANNOT be effected by HPV. Men are simply carriers; literally, there are no signs for a male to indicate he has it.

He can get genital warts depending on the type of HPV. But, he shouldn't be making you feel bad. I would force him to get a test at the local free clinic or Planned Parenthood if he's going to be such a dick about it.

I have no patience for stuff like that. He shouldn't be constantly blaming you. He can take care of himself...he's a big boy!

thanx for that info Carifairy Smile i knew it had nothing to do with my HPV. even my doctor said my type of HPV wasnt even that serious, that my taking vitamins and boosting my immune system it would more than likely go away. my doctor was so nice as to suggest couples counceling if my boyfriend didnt understand it and just in case it started putting stress on our relationship. i even explained to him that its not the cancerous type, that mines is such a weak strain im able to fight if off by boosting my immune system, that everybody at some point in their lifetime is gonna get or already has it. even with protection its unavoidable so its neither ones fault. i.ll let him know thanx guys i feel better Smile
