I went to the Dr for my yearly exam in May and she found a lump in my breast and wants me to have a breast ultrasound. Dr said it could be nothing, it could be a cyst or it could be the big C ... so I am in the process of changing insurance and now set the appointment for July 15th. I am trying not to think about it and I haven't told anyone other than my sister and my husband; but I am sort of worried. Anyone have any stories to share to maybe ease my mind? Thanks in advance.

Anyone found a lump that turned out to be nothing serious? Anyone had a breast ultrasound; what can I expect? Thanks!

OK, so I went yesterday for the ultrasound on my left breast. I got a call today saying they found a “cystic or solid lesion evident” and they want me to have a diagnostic mammogram. I have never had a mammogram and I thought you couldn’t tell much with one until you were older anyway (I am 34). So I am confused and nervous and not looking forward to it, but wish it was over with.
