Hi, I am a 26 year old male living in California. For the past 2 years I have been having extreme problems with the breathing and overall health. I was in Texas for the past 2 years and picked up allergies there. Later it turned into bronchitis and pneumonia. I have been a smoker for 3 years which I'm pretty sure doesnt help. I have seen the doctor numerous times and he has prescribed me an Inhaler and Advare to help with the breathing. What have noticed for the past 6 months is that I will wake up with my breathing passage just blocked with flem. its seems like all the liquid from my nose just runs straight into the lungs. Sometimes it gets impossible to get a full chest of breath. Everytime I try to exercise I can breathless in seconds. Even walking uphill will make me dizzy sometimes. Now it has gotten worse. For the past 3 weeks I have been extremely tired. i get my usual 6 hours of sleep, but can barely stay awake the rest of the day. When I get home I am ready to hit the bed. This is becoming worse by the day and I just dont know how to fix it. I can exercise, cant breath, cant think and cant wake up. I need some good advise on what should be the steps I must take to get back to my energetic life style.

thanks.

Have you ever performed functional lung tests, provocation tests and O2-metry to exclude or confirm chronic bronchitis or asthma? It is possible that your bronchitis turned into chronic condition but need proof for that.
Have you ever being examined by ENT-specialist to exclude or confirm chronic inflammation of the nose, sinuses or throat?
