hi all, i hope you could help me w this. i
am on a birth control for 1 year.
recently, me and husband had an
intercourse 2-3 days after my period.
after our intercourse, i had a very heavy
brownish red discharge, its almst a week
now but i'm still having it (discharge).
now, i am experiencing lower pains and
giddiness wc is unbearable. another thing
is, i remember i missed my pill. so i took
2 pills the following morning. im not sure
whether my pill is ok taking it at the
same time ( my pill's name is exluton). so
i don't know if whether i can be pregnant
or its just normal since i've taken 2
pills in one shot.

When you miss a pill and take 2 pills in
the same day, you are still pretty well
protected. However, by going so long
without taking a pill (the day you missed
it), your body might have started to go
through the pill withdrawal which causes
your "period" (put in quotes because
periods on birth control aren't
technically a period since a woman doesn't
ovulate).
This could cause spotting, which seems to
be what you are experiencing. If you are
worried you can take a pregnancy test 14
days after you missed your pill and it
should be accurate. I don't think there
is a very high chance of you being
pregnant, though, since you took two pills
the next day as soon as you remembered.
