I posted a similar post to this one a few days ago but didnt get much of a response and as I am REALLY worried about this I figured Id post again with some more details to see if anyone could help me. I am really worried that I may be pregnant although I am on birth control and havent missed any pills, here is what happened...

A little over 2 weeks ago I had sex with my boyfriend, he didnt use a condom but he pulled out and never ejaculated in me. About 5 days later I had some mild diarrhea about 2 hours after taking my pill (I was worried that would interfere with the absorption) 2 weeks after the sex, I had sex again and that night I noticed some dark brown discharge in my underwear. I dont know if this was caused by irritation from the sex that I had that same day, if it was just a side effect of my birth control (ive been on birth control for over a year and never had this problem), or if it could be implantation bleeding from pregnancy. So of course I immediately started freaking out and have been ever since. I'm not expecting my period for another week and I've been feeling really weird lately with stomach problems (but i think that could just be because im extremely stessed out and paranoid about this)

If anyone has had a similar experience or any advice for me I would love to hear it, I really dont know what to think! I dont feel like my chances of being pregnant are very high (although I know its always a possibility) but I dont know how else to explain the brown discharge and the weird way I've felt for the past few days

Brown spotting is very common when you take birth control. Also, if you'd recently had sex... it can be from irritation of your cervix - from sex, yes, even if it wasn't rough sex! Diarrhea doesn't have anything to do with the absorption of your birth control. Symptoms of pregnancy don't start until you miss your period.

I hope that helps put your mind at ease. You aren't pregnant. Wink

thank you so much for the quick response I know my fears are a little far fetched but it really helps to hear others opinions I think I was already a little paranoid when I had the diarrhea and wondered about absorption so when I had the brown spotting it just sort of put me over the edge

A lot of people are still anxious about pregnancy even when they take the pill. It is pretty normal, I think.

I hope your period comes right on time and you can rest easy!

I really am experiencing a lot of weird symptoms like constipation, lower back ache, bloated, gassy... is it possible to experience these symptoms just from being so paranoid about the possibility of being pregnant?

NewS?
What's the news? Have you heard anything? Sounds like there could be something more wrong than pregnancy. I had implantation bleeding with both of my kids and your symptoms are very different than mine. Sounds like you could have a cervical cyst or something. You should see your doctor.
