Can I Still Get Pregnant After a Miscarriage??? Posted: 07-12-04 01:10am
I had a miscarriage 2 years ago and I
didnt go to the hospital cause I was too
afraid to I was in pain for one day and I
had my period for three weeks after the
miscarriage I was alright. But its
strange that my boyfriend ejaculates in me
sometimes and I would think I d be
pregnant but my period comes and I get
upset could
it be that I cant get pregnant cause of
the miscarriage cause I didnt go to the
hospital I
need help I really need to know this
feeling that I have that I cant have babys
has gotten to the point that I cant think
straight I get real upset can some one
please reply

Its extremely unlikely that you can not
have babies but no one really knows until
they start trying and have been for over a
year.Most docs will not even send you for
fertility tests until you havebeen trying
for over a year.
I to had a misscarriage a month ago so I
know how you feel on the that note.Are you
trying at the moment? Maybe you should go
see your doc and expalin your worries.But
I would not fret over it.There are so mnay
things and options to help women conceive
now.

Well, if you had a miscarriage, did not go
to the doctor and did not get sick or die
from an infection then you should be
fine.
You are suppose to go to the doc after a
miscarriage to get a d&c to clean you
out and prevent infection. But, like I
said if you had a bad infection you would
definately have known it.
So, most likely you are fine. Just relax
and enjoy trying to make a baby. Stress
will make it harder to become pregnant.

Thank u u guys had really made me feel
better and to see things in a different
way but I still dont uderstand y is it
that I dont get
pregnant
could it be me or could it be tha
positions I do it in cause I heard that if
you do it in a certain position u can get
pregnant faster but those stories I
really dunt believe

Don't believe those myths-changing
positions won't make it easier for you to
become pregnant.The main thing is that you
relax-stress doesn't do your body any good
& if you stop thinking about it for a
while maybe it will happen when you least
expect it.Good luck

I just had a miscarriage, couple of days
ago. It was the worst nightmare I ever
experience in my whole life. Only a few
days before my doctor had told me that I
am pregnant. I was 7 weeks far. My
boyfriend and me were very happy about it
when we found out, but then only a few
days after, I started having cramps
combined with bleeding. I went to my gyno
for a check up and the ultrasound showed
everything was allright with the baby as
for now, but if the bleeding got any
heavier I should go immediately to the
hospital. That night bleeding started
getting massive, it wouldnt stop as well
as the pain. I hoped it would go away,
but also was prepared that it could be
something serious. I prayed that my baby
would survive. In the morning I checked
in to the hospital where they diagnosed a
miscarriage. No heartbeat - nothing. I
was under shock and burst out in tears.
They told me they would have to make a
d&c as for to remove the rest of the
bodyparts.
At first I refused, because, I couldnt
realize my baby was dead.
After a long talk with the doctor, I
agreed as it was the best for my health.
I still do not know how deal with it all,
and ask myself why? And what my fault
was.

Don't blame yourself! It is not your
fault! Sometimes things happen that we
have noooooooooooooooooo control over!
I read in your other post that you have a
four y/o daughter, she still needs you,
when the time is right, you will probably
have another baby but try not to rush it,
give yourself and your body time to
recover.

You are so right and it helped me a lot to
go on with everything. Its right when
they say time heals wounds, although I
think I will never go over it totally, but
at least, I try to carry on.
I have a child that who really needs me to
be there for her.
I just hope that I dont have to go through
this a second time in my life.
