Can sperm survive menstruation? Posted: 04-10-08 09:34am
I know its the same ? over again...
I've been having unprotected sex with my
boyfriend. he pulls out but he didnt pull
out twice the weekend of march 9.
I got my period on the 14 of march. I read
that sperm can live up to five days in a
woman, and so could that mean I could of
possible gotten pregnant during my period?
or is it possible that I got pregant, but
I still had a period anyways since it was
so close together. I am not the great with
the details of
ovulation/menstration/releasing of egg so
I dont even know if that is possible
either...
I know its far fetched...and probably
sounds ridiculous
but I also hear women can get their
"periods" and be pregnant
also, how high of a possibility is it for
a girl to get pregnant with the p.o.
method?
I know pull out is not birth control but
we've been together awhile now and know
the consequences. we're old enough to
handle things that happen thanks so much if
anyone can help me/educate me!

when you have a period, it means that
anything nutriens that feed the embryo
have been washed away. Which is why we
have periods.
You would not have a period while
pregnant, women dont get periods while
pregnant, they get something called break
through bleeding, or implantation bleeding
which is like pinkish spotting. If you
bleed while pregnant it can mean
miscarriage.
Pulling out is not a method, and should
not be a form of birth control. You could
get pregnant anytime while pulling out.
You should think of geting on birth
control and using condoms.
You should wait till your next period is
due and take a test though.
But if you had a period, it means you are
most likely not pregnant.
If he finishes inside you there is a
possibility.
