I all of the sudden cant breath for no
reason at all & then i start to panic the
only way i can calm down & breath is if my
daughter rubs my shoulder or back and talk
to me calm. I now am having more attacks
like this everyday i have an attack when i
do just about anything i am on oxygen but
it does'nt seem to help at all. This has
been going on for about a month & a half
now i am starting to get worried that this
is not going to go away.Is there anything
that can help me or am i going to die.

This one is right in my corner of
knowledge. First of all, do you have COPD?
Secondly, are you on continuous flow or
puff flow meter? Third, what kind of
medications due you take?
Now, this is all part of the fear of not
being able to breath. You seem to go right
into a panic attack and that worsen's it.
Did you ever talk to your pulmonologist
about this. They do go hand in hand ya
know. You might consider talking to your
doc about this and perhaps coming up with
some answers. Have you tried the method of
breathing in through you nose and then
blowing out through your mouth fast and
long like trying to blow out candles on a
cake? Your CO2 levels when you
hyperventalate have alot to do with this
also. You getting more CO2 then your
getting O2. Talk to your doc about it and
see what he says. Your doctor is alway
your best path to wellness. We are here
for you and looking for some news on how
you make out.
