Could you get your doctor to refer you to
a hospital for a different type of allergy
test?
The one i had was where they put 12 drops
of different chemicals on your arm, and
put a small prick in the centre of each
one with a blade
Some then flared up, while others stayed
the same. Apparantly it flares up if
histamines are released, which means you
are allergic to it.
Might be worth a shot?

You could get a skin prick test and see
what happens. Don't worry despite the name
its pretty well pain free. How long has
this been going on? Is this the first
time you have had a reaction to cats?
It maybe be your allergy is very mild but
the effects of cat allergies are
cumulative and could be combining with
other environmental factors to give you
this reaction.

When i was younger i would get hives here
and there.
i started knowing all this as i got older
though, can it develop over a period of
time. Oh and i get sick frequently to
with ear infections and sinus infections
its really annoying!!
