Q: Change in cervical mucous

I have been confirmed almost 7 weeks pregnant with my first child and everything has been going perfectly until this morning. I noticed my cervical mucous was incredibly strange, turning overnight (literally) from completely normal to a consistency similar to rubber cement. I know what my CM looks like when I ovulate (very similar to nasal mucous) but this is WAY past that point. It is so thick and sticky I can barely get it off me when i wipe. There is no blood in it and it is pristinely clear - far clearer than what i would consider normal vaginal discharge.

I have never seen anything like this before and I was just hoping someone would have an idea what it is before I can see my doctor after work.

Normal. Normal. Normal. Your discharge can be very heavy during pregnancy. You might want to invest in some pantyliners. This can last all pregnancy.
