Condom broke before her period Posted: 03-16-08 10:15am
Hi everyone,
My GF and I had sex and during
intercourse, the condom broke.
Somehow I failed to feel it and ejaculated
inside her.
I suggested that she takes the morning
after(knowing that it's the only option
left to prevent pregnancy) but she refused
and said she won't get pregnant because
she's only two days away from her period.
Now we've only been together for a month
and don't think it's the right time for
her to be getting pregnant, for both our
sake.
I've only just finished college and she's
on her grad year.
I care a lot bout her, but fail to believe
what she says.
Is what she's saying true?

Theoretically what she says is true.
Within a week before a period, the EGG IS
GONE, dead, it does not exist anymore.
NO EGG=NO PREGNANCY.
NOW, with that being said... I cannot
guarantee you 100% that she will not get
pregnant, PLAN B cannot guarantee you
either.
My recommendation to you would be to
encourage her to get on birth control
pills, because those are WAY MORE
effective than PLAN B or condoms.
NOTHING is 100%, that is why for me
personally I have an abortion as my back
up. YOU need to discuss WHAT IF... Would
she choose abortion?
Are you ready for a baby?
You may need to reconsider who you have
sex with, and under what birth control
measures, because you have a lot to lose.

The problem is girls can't always predict
when they will have their period. Even if
their period is regular for a year, theres
always the chance that the next month it
will be irregular. Things like stress can
cause this. If her period is delayed
because of stress, that means ovulation is
delayed too and she could get pregnant.
If I were you, I would sit down and talk
to her and ask her why she refuses to take
plan b. Is it the money? If so, go take
a trip to planned parenthood. They have
plan b for free/cheap. You should get a
pack to keep in the medicine cabinet just
in case if it happens again, and maybe she
should look into birth control other than
condoms.
