For the past five or six years of my life,
I have been getting sinus infections. I
get them, am treated sometimes for a week,
and sometimes, all the way up to three
weeks. I usually feel better for about two
weeks, when my symptoms present again, and
I am told I have another infections. I
typically get seven or eight a year. I
have mild allergies to dust and grass,
which I receive allergy shots for. I had
been to my ENT several times over the past
few months and have had sinus surgery to
clean out my sinuses, shrink my turbinate
and air filters, straighten my septum,
among other things. Within a week post-op,
I had the worst sinus infection of my
life. After about every antibiotic on the
market, it is April, and I still have it.
My ENT is stunned and no one can tell me
why I am always sick. Along with my sinus
issues, I have many others. From age five,
until eight, I had constant strep throat.
I had my tonsils and adenoids removed. I
have social anxiety disorder. I have been
recently diagnosed with a thyroid
auto-immune disease. I also have many
problems with my white blood cell count
and have had two cancer scares within the
past year. I have tried everything from
daily medication to sinus rinses. I am
constantly tried, congested, and I often
feel faint and dizzy. I just want to know
what's wrong. To me, all of my doctors are
treating everything separately, but I want
to know if everything is really connected.

What are you eating? I have a large amount
of allergy related sinus problems as well,
but never any infections...
If you want to try something simple that
could help a lot over a few weeks. Try
fruit juice drinks; always lemon, but
whatever other yellow fruits you
want/like.
Avoid as many processed and fast foods as
possible.
If you still have problems, try a fast. At
least 7 days, preferably more. Some people
regularly go 40 days (and one person I
know ran a marathon on the last day)
without food. Do some research into this..
it'll help clear out anything bad in your
body; such as those bacteria that seem to
come back after your antibiotics.
You need to remember that antibiotics will
also kill your natural defenses against
disease. Once they are out of your system,
you're pretty well defenseless against
anything new coming in. You will need to
build up your protection by avoiding
antibiotics.. but saying that, sometimes
it's unavoidable.
Lemon is a great detoxifyer, as well as
producing a more alkaline environment
within your body. Bacteria cannot live in
these conditions. Watermelon is also good
for producing an alkaline environment.
