Usually you would get a positive test around the time of your period, however, some people take longer to get a positive result. I would wait 7 days from when you did one, see if you get your period, and if not, do another test. All I know is that since my husband and I started trying for our second, and Ive been off the pill, my periods have been really weird. I had several really light, short periods, one really, really heavy 12 day long one, sometimes they are 28 days, 42 days and I was expecting one on Oct 20th, and still nothing, with neg test! The doctor told me to wait until a week after I expect my period (average of about 30 days) and then do a test if I havent had a period. I had cramping throughout my whole pregnancy with my son, so I think for some people that is "normal" and for some, they dont get cramping at all. Let me know what your tests says, good luck!!!!!!!!
