I am due this Friday, I went to the dr
last wed and measured 2 cm and 50 effaced.
Is there anything that I can do to help
the process along? I have heard multiple
things, what worked for everyone? I have
heard that walking and having sex are good
things to try. I know that I could go
over since this is our first child. How
many people with there first children came
on time or early? My husband and I are
hoping that we would have him early but it
really isn't looking like it now.

The same thing doesn't work for everyone.
Walk. A lot. Sex.
A due date is only an estimation of when
the baby will come. They can come +/- 2
weeks either way. I'm sure your doctor
won't let you go over by two weeks.
Everyone wishes, hopes and thinks their
baby will come early. I don't know why
that is. Probably because the end of
pregnancy is so long and painful?
Your baby will come when your baby is
ready. Until then, please enjoy your time
not tethered to a newborn. The time just
you and your husband alone together.
Because after baby gets here it won't ever
happen again. Plan a nice dinner out and a
quiet movie and snuggle together on the
couch. Enjoy this time.
Good luck on labor!

Please just dont intake castor oil!
You should just try staying active...
I never had contractions or anything and
was like 42 weeks... I like jazzercised
like crazy one day... (80s funk music
tight sports bra and go at it haha) and
then he was kicking up a storm and crazy
contractions (I had been dialated for like
2 weeks) I was induced the next day!
Thanks for the advise! I have been having
pains in my lower abdomen and he is still
kicking. I also have lower back pain, my
husband is really great about massaging my
lower back when I am in pain. I am just
waiting for the real thing. I think we
are both anxious about his arrival, my
husband kiss' my belly and tells him that
he can come out at anytime that we are
ready for him. It is so cute. I never
thought that this would bring us even
closer being pregnant. I go back to the
dr tomorrow so we will see if we have made
any progress!
Thanks again
