depressed, was it for the best? ...... Posted: 03-05-08 23:30pm
I met this girl at a club , she caught my
eye and i had to talk to her .
I had couple of drinks so "drunk courage
kicked" in and made a move
but i dont normally . I am very passive
and shy most of the times,
we danced talked and i got her number. It
was a good night.
I called her about 4 days later and we
talked a bit , but i found that was very
difficult to talk to her she would only
respond with simple comments
, we stoped talking for about a month ,
then one day i get a text and we started
to talk again, it seemed like we were
geting along and conversation was much
better.
Somehow it came up that she is a very
"shallow" person and only goes for good
looking guys , witch kind of bothered me
but didnt say much about that .We would
talk on the phone from like 1 am to 4am at
times , we would text all the time, So we
finally went out to watch a movie and we
drove around talked and had prety good
time.
Yesterday ,for some reason she asked how
much i made at work , i responded "does it
really mater" and kind of kidded around ,
well i told her an estimated amount and
told her yea its ok for now , she said
well if you dont like it ,do something you
like .....i said i dont know what i want
to do?..
she said "eh your annoying me" under her
breath , it bothered me beacuse this girl
is spoiled rich dadys girl that gets
everything ...i pretended like i didnt
hear that and told her , hey let me call
you back.
I called her about 30 min later , and i
told her "did i wake you" (it was midnight
witch is when we usually talk) ...she said
well i was falling a sleep
whats up? , she seemed bothered so we only
talked for couple minutes and told her
well il let you go to sleep, she said
"oook" in a annoyed/sarcastic voice. After
that she text me saying "wake me up and
ditch me..Thanks..night" . I text back
with "sorry...dont want to annoy you
...good night."
Things were going good and this happens ,
i text her today , but no reply...
im thinking this is prety much over , i
was falling for her and was really liking
her ...
Things i sould point out:
-she is white / phillipino
-wealthy familly
-is a dancer/ teacher (jaz, ballet, tap ,
does musicals)
-goes to college but only takes dance
classes
-very sarcastic
-all into her self and looks
-very "stuck up"
-feels shes better than other people
-very materialistic
-very hard to talk to
-she is 20
-i am 23
Reasons i though it probably wouldnt have
worked out is that we are of totally
different backgrounds and ethnicity ,
circle of friends , cant have semi
intelligent conversation , and she is
selfish (thinks the world revolves around
her because she is very good looking.
so ....is it for the best that we stop
talking ?
Thank you in advance for the advise or
comments.

So why did you like her in the first
place? If it was only for her looks,
believe me, you can do better. There are
good looking girls that don't act like a
queen bee. I don't see why you'd even want
a relationship with her.

Sounds like your the one being shallow to
me mate, no offense.
Who would wanna be with sum1 like that?..
Go find yourself a nice girl who's
interested in you as a person... not how
much money you make.

seriously, and another thing, even if yall
did startd dating and together for a
while, she seems like the type who would
leave as soon as something better came
along....so save urself a real heartbreak
and look for chicks at the park maybe
instead of the pub.

You are wasting your time. You will never,
EVER find a good quality woman/girl at a
bar/club.
One thing my dad always told me that is
true...stay away from dancers and
actresses.
I have followed this rule and I must say.
It has done me quite good.
The same goes for girls who are in the PR
(public relations) business.
