diaphragm pain after Da Vinci hysterectomy Posted: 03-23-08 12:15pm
I am a professional French horn player who
had a Da Vinci hysterectomy on February 1
(uterine papillary serous carcinoma; stage
1). I didn't return to work until four
weeks after surgery; worked for three
weeks and then the pain in my diaphragm
and back became so bad I had to take more
time off. I am totally freaked. Are
there any other wind and/or brass players
out there who've had the same type of
experience? Yikes!
