Do i have HIV?

Its been 4 months now since my last
possible exposure to HIV. I was having sex
with an escort and the condom BROKE!!! 6
weeks later i began feeling sick, becoming
weak, slight fever and a headach that
wouldnt go away. I also was having
discharge from my penis. When i got
checked out i had clamidia and that was
easily taken care of but im not sure if
all those symptoms are related to
clamidia, are they? So i got myself tested
for hiv aswell that day and then again at
15 weeks ( 3 and a half months). They just
used the regular Elisa test they wouldnt
give me a westorn blot. But now even 17
weeks later im having a dry throat and a
white toung when i wake up in the morning.
could it be hiv or maybe something else?
im seeing my doctor next week but id like
to hear back from you too please. Im just
confused my doctor told me to get tested
even 6 months from my last possible
exposure but iv had friends who say they
only get tested at 3 months because thats
all you need. can you clear that up for me
too please. Also what are the chances of
becoming positive after 3 and a half
months? Thank you for your time

The only way to know if you had HIV is
mbae getting a test.
It is recommended two tests taken three
months apart. That second test tells you
for sure what is happening. The doctor
catches a 98% of the positive people in
the first test and 2% missed in the first
- in the second test. The slow
progressors.
I don't know why they wouldn't do a
western blot on you.
When I was told in Kenya over 15 years ago
that I had AIDS, my employers paid for a
western blot and it too came back
positive.
Living in doubt is a hard thing. Good for
you for going for a test and getting good
results. One more and then you go from
there. I feel for you 
Sorry I am not of much help in the area of
chlamydia and its symptoms.

I haven't gone yet.. My job is a little
different and if I test positive then I'm
afraid I'll lose everything I've work for.

Why don't you go for anonymous testing?
You deserve not to live in doubt. Take a
chance. You will feel better knowing than
guessing and living in the unknown.

now, they already have it on my file and
my last test was supposed to be last week
but I never went. So I'm going to be told
to go in eventually.

I don't understand how you cannot go to an
anonymous testing place and get tested
without the army knowing.
All times that I have tested in Canada, I
never had to give my name. Just a number
or something.
What do you mean they already have it on
your file? Your negative status or what?

Well I'm not sure if they can throw me out
or not but I wouldn't be surprised if they
did because I wouldn't be able to go
overseas if I do have HIV. About it being
on my file means its a part of my medical
file and yes its only been negative so far
but they also have my last testing date on
there which was August 18, 08 and I didn't
go so eventually their going to call me in
to get tested.

I still have a white tongue in the
morning. Not too sure what it is or what
its from but besides that the few cuts and
scraps I get seem to take a while to heal
but I never really paid attention to how
long they took to heal before.

a white tongue in the morning is fairly
normal.If it was thrush and the white
would not or could not be scrapped or
removed from brushing or scraping then
that would be something to be concerned
about.If you have a white film on your
tongue and you cant get rid of it then you
really need to go to the doc,stick it out
and say "Look.What is this?"

yeah I know it's normal in the morning and
I can get most of it off by brushing my
tongue but still most days it does get
pretty bad, including at night. I'm not
sure if it could of been from the
antibiotics I took or not from when I had
chlamydia.

Please listen to me, i had registered n
another forums also, wid my worry, where
thay said [said experts] 3 month result n
elisa antibody test gives a confirmed nd
conclusive result, no need to test after 6
months nd they said it s a waiste of
money.
brother, i have white tough also, bt wen i
scrap it goes, i do smoke a lot, so wen
ever i smoke it generates more.
bt gettin not tested s not the solution
na, i also live n another country where
hiv infected [those who are not belong to
this country] ppl are gettin deported to
their mother land, am also scared to get
tested here, so wat i did was, i arranged
my vacation to ma country nd went for the
test, so far it came -ve, i ll test again
n Dec, 08.
i request u to get tested asap, get a
vacation nd go to some other place to get
tested wid an anonymous name, also please
look for the chances of gettin an online
elisa test kit.
cuz, livin n doubts ll affect ur health,
it happend to me too, for me those
fearfull days affected ma productivity n
work too.
