I have been having racing hear,
palpitations, and severe dizzy pressure
headaches on and off now for about 6
years. My heart just started racing and I
went to the emergency room. I was told
that it was just and anxiety attack,
because I was just 24 years old and
everything would be fine. This has
continued on and off now for six years. I
have had two children and both pregnancies
went well the only complications was I
became anemic. I was told by a
cardiologist that I have a leaky heart
valve and that it is nothing to worry
about. I did have pleurisy once about
five years ago, and it went away in a few
days. It hasn't bothered me since. I
might sometimes have a little joint pain,
but nothing out of the ordinary. My
biggest concern that this could be lupus
is that I have a slight redness on each
side of my face beside my nose. I is a
little itchy and it stings if I scratch
it. It doesn't cover my nose, and I don't
have rashes anywhere else. My worse
concern is extreme headaches and
dizziness. Could anyone comment on my
situation

I. unfortunatly am not going to be much
help because I have the exact same
symptoms!! My dry skin is on both sides of
my nose and mouth. Because I also have
MS, I attributed the dizziness to that.
I went to the DR. and they did a bunch of
blood tests. I would suggest that for
you. They can tell a lot by blood work.
If for no other reason to ease your mind.
It doesn't sound like you have lupus, but
my diagnosis was two weeks ago, so I am no
expert!
