You still have your period, and you had
three negative tests... I'm thinking
you're not pregnant.

Yeh its very rare to still have your
period when your pregnant. I really don't
think your pregnant, especially if 3 tests
have come back negative and you have your
period!

You don't get pregnancy symptoms before
you get a positive pregnancy test.
Pregnancy tests detect hCG, which is the
same hormone that causes symptoms. If you
have enough hormone to cause all of your
symptoms, it's enough to trigger a
positive test.
The first pregnancy symptom is usually a
missed period. If you're getting your
period and the tests are negative, you are
NOT pregnant.

NOT TRUE! Last time I was PG, I had
symptoms before i gt a BFP. (Not to
mention the fact that there are plenty
others too!) While you are right about the
fact that it is the hormone HCG that
produces both the symptoms and the BFP
result, it is often th case, that while
there is enough to give the woman the
symptoms, its too early for a test to be
pos. ie not enough of the hormone present
(the HCG hormone levels typically double
every 48 hrs)

Umm you normally get 'pregnancy symptoms'
in your 3rd and up week ... If you have 3
negative tests then your urine doesn't
contain the chemical released during
pregnancy. Its probably just nothing but
you thinking its pregnancy is giving you
the 'signs'. I had no symptoms at all just
no period, you don't really get tender
nipples until halfway through the first
trimester and as for them getting bigger
and darker thats not until later on in the
pregnancy. Don't stress I bet $50 you are
not pregnant.

Sweetie, the "symptoms" can be caused by
anything. In fact, most women don't
experience any symptoms besides a missed
period until 6 weeks or beyond, IF AT ALL.
Take a look around this forum at all the
women who had every symptom in the book
and ended up not being pregnant. How do
you explain that? It's very simple...
these symptoms aren't restricted to
pregnancy.
Simply thinking you're pregnant will make
you notice every symptom in the book. And
by the way, home pregnancy tests detect
hCG in very small amounts. It takes much
stronger amounts than that to cause
symptoms, hence why symptoms don't usually
manifest themselves for a few more weeks
after your missed period.
