Empty Nest Syndrome

I am wondering if any other parents are experiencing this or will be.
For those of you unfamiliar with the term it is when your children (adult) are ready to discover the world on their own without their parents, in other words they are going to be moving out of the house that has been their home.

How are you coping?

I still have a child at home - but I do remember how hard it was to let go when my son moved out. To go from caring for this child his whole life to not being connected to him on a daily basis was really hard.

Finding things to keep you occupied, to take up your time, are good to fill that void. New hobbies, new traditions, new daily schedule. This is your time for you now. Enjoy it!
