A couple days ago my right side of my back
started hurting. I thought it was just
regular back pain so i shrugged it off,
but after about 4 days it has gotten
progressively worse.
I have a tightness/ heavyness on the right
side of my lower back and when i lift my
right leg i get a sharp pain in the same
spot on that right side of my back.
Since i have no health insurance at the
moment, i was wondering if it was just a
pulled muscle or something that i can just
kind of nurse myself back to health or if
it is something i need to give out the
money for to go to the doctor.
Needless to say, i have pulled a muscle in
my back before as well as have had muscle
spasms but i dont remember them hurting to
this extent.
I also had xrays done once and one doctor
that i had arthritis in my spine or
something but when i got sent to someone
else he just said my spine curves in a
wierd way (It was something like that...it
was about 4 years ago) and is naturally
like that and i didnt have arthritis.
If any body has any suggestions, please
let me know. I thought the pain would be
gone by now but it is about to reach the
unbearable point if it continues the path
its on.

Mine started the same way. I had 3
ruptured discs in my lower back (left
side) and ended up with 2 ruptured discs
in my neck. I had fusion in my neck and a
lamenectomy and discectomy in my lower
back. PIANFUL and I JUST NOW got into pain
management and my pain is better but not
gone. Surgery MESSED ME UP!!! Watch ougt!!
Try pain management before surgery.

I am on disability and have Medicaid. It
sucks but it paid for surgery, IF you want
that. Also, I got some Blue Cross/Blue
Shield for $80 a month. I have a $1000
deductible BUT it got me into pain
management!! Try that or some other cheap
insurance, it is WELL WORTH IT!!
