I was wondering if anyone had ever gotten a positive pregnancy test at home and a negative at the doctor?

I took an equate preg test and it's clearly positive (2 PINK lines) But i got a urine preg test done at the doctor today and she said it was negative.. that my HCG levels must be below 5.

So i am wondering what this means? has anyone else experienced this?

The test could have been defective. If you don't start your period, retest in a few days.
