My last drs appt my little mans heartbeat was way too fast. the doc listened to it just to make sure it WOULD slow down. It did after about 5 mins. I have been staying off caffeine except for like one a week. Going on a walk everyday, trying to eat good,at least trying to rest and put my feet up for a bit even if I don't get to take a nap. I don't know if it is something I am doing to make it fast of if he is just taking after his dad. My dh's heartbeat tends to be fast at times. The doc just asked me if he was active....most definatly. In fact the whole 5 mins he was there waiting for it to slow down he was in constant motion. My doc looked at me and was like you aren't kidding, he is active. I love being able to feel him move, but don't want anything to go wrong cause of it. I have another appt this friday, so just hoping it will all be back to normal this week.

Oh and I get to have my baby shower on Saturday!!!! I am so excited. my mom is going to get to be here. Haven't seen her since Feb.

At my 35 week appt my baby's heartrate was 160(same as 12 weeks) even though it's supposed to slow down with age. I, too, am wondering what his rate was. I'm sure he's fine. I'm glad you get to see your mom! Moms are the best Very Happy

I know this prolly is stupid of me, but to be honest I didn't ask. He just put the little thing on my belly and right away he was like... whoo his heartbeat is fast. So he just listened to it for about 5 mins and said he just wanted to make sure that it would slow down. And sure enough after about 5 mins you could def tell it slowing down.... a lot. It was my first appt to go by myself in a long time so it kinda freaked me out. I am so use to having someone with me. Anyway, I don't know exactly how fast it was. Neutral I am giong to be sure to ask tomorrow and see what his normal heartbeat is though.
