Finding out the sex of your baby. Posted: 04-17-08 10:19am
Ok. I have a question for all you
pregnant couples out there. I'm not
pregnant or anything, but have lots of
friends that are or have been. I'm hoping
to have a bundle of joy in the next two
years.
My question is this:
Why do more and more people want to find
out the sex of their baby? Why not keep
it a surprise?
I know when I get pregnant, I do not want
to know. My husband said he would like
to, but I told him, if I'm not letting
myself know, I'm not letting anyone know.
Is this selfish?

i dont think its selfish at all. You are
the parent and you will be carrying the
baby so thats all that matters.
What did they do in the old days before
the ultrasound? Its natures decision
anyway.
I can see both sides. And I think the main
reason people Do find out the sex is
because technology is so readily
available. We are in a new age where WE
WANT TO KNOW and maybe control everything,
including the sex of our baby. So why not
right?
I have an ultrasound on Monday and I want
to know mainly because everyone has been
asking. I get at least 2 calls a week! I
really do not care and it would be a great
surprise. So I am going to go into my
ultrasound and if they cannot see anything
then I wont push it. I will be happy with
what ever the Lord decides.

she had have been a boy i wanted
everything a light sky blue but i dont
like yellow or green and white is boring
and brown and green is more boyish to me
anyways but i dont like yellow at all
