You tested positive when you were less
than 2 weeks pregnant? Odd that you got
that false positive then when you really
did turn out to be accidentally pregnant.
I guess that morning sickness that started
on Christmas day wasn't really morning
sickness - just the regular kind of being
sick.

no, she actually said, i concieved most
likely more towards the middle or near the
end of November. So what i was
experiencing was actually morning
sickness.
The next day i even went to the doctor for
a blood and urine test and was positive
too. That was back on Dec.9 when i did at
home pregnancy test, it was a digital read
and said Pregnant.
And Dec. 10 when i did urine and blood
test. And my blood test results said i was
indeed pregnant.
So the morning sickness back on Christmas
was BOTH the flu AND morning sickness
following it.
I would have concieved on about the 22 or
23 of November.

I plugged your due date into a few
different conception calendars and they
said you conceived on November 29th or
30th.

You would now be 25 weeks pregnant. With a
due date of August 22nd you would have
concieved around November 29.

Your doctor didn't tell you how many weeks
pregnant you are? You're just guessing?

EDD = August 22
Last period = November 15
Probable conception = November 29
Your doctor has a little wheel that has
all this information on it. There are
literally thousands of online calculators
that will give you this information too.

But wait..my last period was Nov.8th not
the 15th.
I think i should get my OB to explain this
to me again, she said something like even
though your last period was the 8th of
nov. it doesnt mean youhad a miscarriage
or anything...but i can't remember
exactally word for word what she said, i
was a little excited about hearing its a
boy.

It means you didn't ovulate until November
29th.

Today, November 8th, i went to the

My period is supposed to come on November
13th...
Could this be early implantation
bleeding?
Or a sign of pregnancy?
Has this happened to anyone, if so could
you give and share some
advice? |

Then your due date is a week 'off'. You
should go back to your doctor and ask her
why she changed it from August 14.

the only reason why she changed it was
because of the first ultrasound that i had
a 6 weeks and the u/s tech said she could
not see a heart beat, said i looked more
like 3-4 weeks but that my uterus was
looking good.

Maybe your baby isn't growing at the
average rate?
My baby's growing faster than normal and
it changed my due date.

No, because if that were true, they would
have seen that and told me when iwent for
my u/s at 18weeks.
And my Ob would have also put me in for
another u/s right away if that were the
case.
Im measuring at the right rate. Everything
is fine and going well with my baby.
Did your doctor or OB tell you that the
baby was growing faster, and did you have
an u/s that determined that? Were you
measuring farther along than you should
have been to also determine that?

Yes, I was measuring farther along when we
went for a U/S.
I didn't mean it in a bad way. Baby's all
have different growth rates, you know.
Your U/S should determine your due date,
not just what your doctor says. So if
you're measuring right for the new due
date, then your baby actually COULD be
growing slower (NOT necessarily a bad
thing.) If you were measuring right for
your old due date, your doctor would not
have changed it.

The only reason why she has changed it is
because of the first u/s at 6weeks that i
had. it looked more like 3-4 weeks. so she
is thinking i concieved later on in
november.
The ultrasound would have shown if the
baby was measuring too far along, or
slowly developing.
I know you dont mean it in a bad way, but
im pretty sure that if that were/is the
case, they would inform me about it.
My fiancee also counted from when i was
ovulating after the first u/s and thought
that i most likely concieved around my
ovulation day.
where as with doctors, they use the wheel
and go by the last period. When you dont
get pregnant on your period[yes it does
happen sometimes but is rare] and that is
an estimate for when you would be due.
When i go to my next OB appt. i will ask
her why exactaly she moved the due date,
and if the baby is developing well and
such.
I remember my sister inlaw said that she
always was a week ahead of her pregnancy
when she would get ultrasounds done and
measurements.

See, I think its more likely that your
baby isn't developing as fast because how
in the world would you get a positive test
so early on?
Doesn't add up at all.
