You've had two ultrasounds since the first
one. They should know exactly how far
along you are.

Doesn't add up at
all.
but they would have seen how far along the
baby is developing through the 2nd u/s
that i had. And would have told me as
well.
When we got the u/s results back we were
told by our family doctor, that everything
is going good, baby is developing good,
and everything looks great.
My family doctor has been the one who has
done measurements, ultrasounds, and he has
said everything looks good. Im measuring
right and the baby looks good.
My OB is the one who changed the due date
because of the u/s that i had a 6 weeks.
Everytime im measured, it measures to
where i should be. The ultrasounds have
said the baby is fine and
growing/developing fine.
I would have been 2weeks when i found out
through a pregnancy test and a blood test
that im pregnant.

That is the part that doesn't make sense.
You cannot be 2 weeks pregnant. You are
ovulating when you are 2 weeks 'pregnant'.
It doesn't exist. When you find out you
are pregnant (via a missed period
usually), you are 4 weeks pregnant. There
is no 2 weeks pregnant.

sorry mistake.
I was 5days late when i tested and had a
blood test.
Therefore, would i not have been 4weeks
pregnant? And not have found out so early
due to the fact that i was 4weeks
pregnant?

you guys are unbelieveable on here!
i went for a u/s at 6 weeks. they said
they could not see the heart beat, but
things look like their going on, and that
i look more like 3-4 weeks.
i went for another at 18weeks, and they
saw everything head, hands, toes, legs,
arms, they checked for spinal bifida,
downsyndrome, all that stuff, it all came
back good.
THEN i went to see my OB for the first
time last Tuesday, and she went over
things with us, what hospital i would be
delivering at and such, told us the sex of
the baby, and then asked about the 6week
u/s and then said well when they extimate
your due date its never sure [obvious]
plus you dont ovulate on your period. So
she moved it over a little to when i would
be ovulating, and that is how she got the
due date now at 22weeks.
Nothing "fishy" is going on here, this is
ALL word for word what my OB has told me.

No they would never say that an ultrasound
looked 3-4 weeks. Ever, no exceptions.
It's impossible. You and your story are
the only unbelievable ones.

They said i looked like 3-4 weeks because
they saw no heart beat.
That is exactaly what the nurse said to
me.

See, but you said you were 6 weeks along
when you went for the ultrasound. There is
where the difference is. A 3 week
difference.
It has been the same inconsistency since
December. No one can quite understand why
your due date changed. How you could have
found out you were pregnant before you
were actually pregnant -
stop. Don't overreact. Think about this
from our point of view. You tested and
found out you were pregnant which would
have meant you were 4 weeks pregnant, but
when you were 6 weeks pregnant your
ultrasound (was it vaginal?) said you were
3/4 weeks pregnant. This is why it is iffy
to the reader and feels like you are not
'telling the truth'.
Now, over 1/2 way into your pregnancy,
your due date changed by a week due to
this original ultrasound? That also seems
fishy - considering that ultrasound dates
your pregnancy up to 3 weeks, not 1 week,
'off'.
I think that this is why everyone feels a
little confused by your story, Krystine.

A baby may not even have implanted yet at
3 weeks..I don't think they do them there
either since you can't have an abortion if
its too early to know your pregnant.

I think that this is why everyone feels a
little confused by your story,
Krystine.
I tested with a digital read home
pregnancy test on Dec.9th, and went to the
doctors the next day[Dec.10th] to clarify
my pregnancy, they did a urine test and
blood test, and they both came back
positive for pregnancy.
So i don't understand how i could have
found out i was earlier, when i would have
been 4weeks along... And i am telling the
truth. Everything here is the truth.
When i went for the first one, yes i was
6weeks, but the nurse said she could not
see the heartbeat or the embryo attached
to my uterus. She said my uterus looks
good..but that i look like 3-4weeks, and
said she should be able to see a
heartbeat. She first scanned my tummy,
then did a vaginal u/s to see if she would
see something better.
Now im 25weeks and4days pregnant, my OB
changed my due date because of what we
told her about the first u/s, and said im
a week off from my original due date.
Im not sure why they could not see
anything at 6 weeks, i found that odd as
well, but ever since that u/s things have
gone smoothly, and my baby is looking
good. Don't ultrasounds tell you exactally
how far along you are anyways though?
I told them my last period, Nov.8th, and
my OB had moved the due date as well
explaining that i would not concieve on my
period, so moved it over a couple days to
when i would be ovulating, and got the due
date now which is aug.22nd.
This is all truth, im not lying about any
of this.
This is all word for word what i was told
by the u/s nurse, and my OB.

Yea but it won't be seen on an U/S at 4
weeks anyway. I'm a nursing student and
we just learned about this in
Developmental Biology. When the baby
implants it is a blastocyst...about the
size of a pinhead. Not possible to see on
an ultrasound.
