Q: First midwife appointment

I have my first midwife appointment in a couple of hours =)

I know she'll take 3 lots of blood (fun) & work out my due date.. but I can't remember what else will happen. Hopefully she'll arrange my 12 week scan.. I can't wait to see my little baba.

I'm getting an iddy-biddy bump.. it's noticeable when I lie down because my tummy doesn't go flat anymore. I hope I get a proper bump this time round.. people didn't know I was pregnant last time unless I told them.. even right at the end!

Anyway, I'll post about my appointment when I get back!

Ok so that was nothing like I thought it would be Neutral

The midwife didn't do any tests or anything.. she just made an appointment on the 1st May for me to go back & have blood taken & book my 12 week scan etc. & gave me some antenatal notes to fill in at home.

Good news though, I told her about the pain I'd been experiencing & she rang the early pregnancy unit.. & I have a scan tomorrow! I'll be 8 weeks 3 days so hopefully I should be able to see my little one =)

I know exactly what you mean, I don't have much of a bump yet, but when i lay down it doesn't go flat, so its nice to see that.

Aaawww! You'll get to see your m&m! My first appt was weird too. Nothing at all happened. Maybe we're just remembering things wrong and all that stuff was done at the second one?
