Flattening Mole
Posted: 04-26-08 02:37am

Hi everyone! I'm Rhyza. 20 yo.

I was quite worried for the past few months. I've had this small mole on my wrist since I was 16. When I turned 19, I noticed that there was a growth under it. Maybe it's the mole growing.

The growth is quite irregular; in fact, it grew larger than the mole itself, but it's not that big. After a few weeks, it stopped growing and flattened a little.

Moreover, I also noticed that its (mole) dark brown color lightened, becoming fair with my skin that when you look at my wrist you wouldn't even think that I've had a mole on it.

It's still a little elevated though. Could this be a form of Cancer?

Correct me, if I'm wrong, but... do you talk about having ring like area around your initial mole that's lighter than your skin?
Is your mole one colored or with uneven distribution of color?
Does it have irregular borders and irregular shape?
Do you feel itchiness?

*nope I'm not having a "ring like area" around my mole but yes it (the growth) is lighter than my skin color.

*my mole is one colored.

*it has regular borders until the said "growth"

*it doesn't feel itchy.

M&ms, I'm so sorry for my reply. I know it's kinda hard to understand. It's just that I'm having difficulty of expressing myself since I don't talk English much. I'm from the Philippines.

Thanks for the reply.

Is your mole getting lighter then was previously, almost like starting to disappear?
